How to create aliases in Google Workspace?
Each Google Workspace licence includes up to 30 email aliases at no extra cost.
We have prepared a video here to show you how to manage aliases.
A Google Workspace licence can have up to 30 free aliases.
To assign an alias to a user from the Console, go to Menu > Users > select the User > Add alternative email addresses.
The user will receive emails sent to that alias address.
The user can choose to send emails from the alias address. To do this: Gmail settings (cog icon top right) > See all settings > Accounts > Send mail as > Add another email address (Configure your alias).
We recommend using labels (label name and colour) to more intuitively mark incoming and outgoing mail for the aliases you create.
Naturally, you can add different email signatures for individual aliases. Gmail settings (cog icon top right) > See all settings > General > Signature.
